Drawing on my experience as a former Miss Teen California USA contestant, I've gained valuable insights that I'm eager to share with young women. My daughter Emma attended Miss America Academy at Miss California, where she had her first pageant training experience, taught by National experts one of which was renown etiquette expert Elaine Swann, In 2019 Emma was invited to compete in Miss Teen Santa Monica USA and Miss Teen Malibu/Miss Beverly Hills USA. She was awarded the prestigious title of Miss Congeniality, recognized by her peers as the most friendly, helpful, and genuine contestant. As former Miss California USA contestants, our journey has shaped and empowered us as women, inspiring us to pay it forward to the next generation. We have no desire to hold a pageant focused solely on physical appearance. Rather, our mission is to nurture true, all-encompassing beauty from the inside out. Through our "Forever A Queen" program, we empower young women by building their self-confidence, developing their leadership skills, and helping them discover their purpose and inner beauty – not just their exterior. Our goal is to equip these young women to become future leaders who can spread positivity and inspire their communities. The "Forever Queens" workshop rejects the narrow focus on physical appearance that has historically defined pageants. Instead, it redefines what it means to be a "queen" by emphasizing inner growth, service to others, and the pursuit of meaningful goals. The workshop cultivates a new generation of transformative leaders who can make a positive impact. Participants engage in interactive sessions on self-esteem, communication, public speaking, community service, and personal branding, learning from experienced titleholders about overcoming obstacles and utilizing their platforms for change. The workshop provides a supportive and environment for young women to explore their talents beyond physical beauty. By shifting the focus away from superficial criteria, the Miss Teen Chico USA workshop creates a more holistic and empowering experience. Young women are encouraged to define success on their own terms, tapping into their unique strengths and passions to make a meaningful difference. In doing so, they transform themselves and challenge traditional norms surrounding pageants
